Welcome to our website! Here you can find out about our internship and research at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in the summer of 2022. With the help of Dr. Torrey Rick, we are doing archaeological research utilizing the Smithsonian’s vast archives to help contextualize the American Fur Trade through data about mink, muskrat, and beaver in Maine. At the end of our research, we will present at the Furbearer Workshop at Shoals Marine Lab in Maine.
