Sara is a rising junior at the University of Oklahoma. She is a Microbiology major with a minor in Anthropology. She currently works at LMAMR (Laboratories of Molecular Anthropology and Microbiome Research) under Dr. Courtney Hofman studying the diet and microbiome of the American mink and its relation to sea birds in Maine. Outside of school, Sara enjoys playing the viola, reading, and caring for her pets and plants.

Elizabeth Austin
Middlebury College '24
Elizabeth is a rising junior at Middlebury College in Vermont. She is an Environmental Science joint major with Earth and Climate Science. She currently works in HEDGE Lab (Holocene Ecology, Diversity, and Global Extinctions) under Dr. Alexis Mychajliw studying paleoclimate using preserved packrat middens in SoCal. Outside of school, Elizabeth plays for Middlebury’s rugby team, and she enjoys cooking, crafting, and exploring the Vermont outdoors.
