Week 6: This week we attended the Furbearer’s Conference at Shoals Marine Lab in Maine. Here we presented our research from our time at the Smithsonian. It was such a beautiful island, and we enjoyed getting to see gulls, seals, and muskrats! The conference was wonderful, and we loved getting to learn from all the different people in attendance. We are both excited to embark on this Furbearer project, and continue to add to this project with our research. We can’t thank our mentor’s enough for giving us the opportunity to have such an amazing summer internship experience.
